Slot Explanation: I am quite sure it's an abbreviation of “卡位”, or literally a "slot", usually used in China in places like a long-distance bus station. In this case it's quite reasonable if you consider this address being a smaller unit among a row of shops in a same building. That said I don't think addresses must be translated anyway, of course with exceptions :) |

No. XXX Explanation: this is a Cantonese term. you usually see it being used for shops, which has a '门面‘ ’铺面‘， on the ground floor or street level. it does refer to a 'slot', a place wedged between others. but I wouldn't translate it into 'slot', it simply means ' shop number 6 on the west side of building 14'. |
