Chinese term or phrase: 大气
A positive adjective, here being used to describe the designs of luxury cars (usually goes with dignified, solemn). I get what it means, but I just can't come up with a decent translation.

neutral  Robert Hopkins: I think "stately" is okay (better than "imposing"), but it's not your only option. Along the lines of "高大上," you might also consider something like "high-end" or "elegant." It's not a 1:1 translation, but I don't think you need absolute precision here.

Nov 14, 2011 - big air 这个词有,但不是大气的意思,海词的翻译是超级空中 ... Majestic 还有grandeur sublime great 都OK。 细节木有要求,规模往大了靠就可以~.

sleek

Explanation:
Since 大气 means high-end as well as displaying wealth and elegant taste, "sleek" could work as well. But It might lean toward the "urbane" or "stylish" side. Depends on where you are aiming. Just a suggestion.
