I wrote "due to" in the suggested translation, as this is considered more and more acceptable (see Bartleby.com where a guide to US English style discusses this question). In conservative English it should be "owing to". Or just as I wrote in the para immediately above this note it could be "in" violation, thus avoiding the due to/owing to problem altogether. I just wanted you to get this note because of the controversy over the use of "due to" in certain circumstances.
