Chou Zhang Chung Explanation: This is a name... according to another Taiwanese. In the future if anyone is posting a reference to Taiwan or making a KudoZ question on a topic regarding Taiwan or Taiwanese (or addressed to such) it would help a LOT to post the question in Traditional Chinese since that is what we use here. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2010-06-24 03:09:02 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- As for the meaning of the name, it can vary from family to family or person to person... best to ask that person or their family and see the reasoning for the name. The surname is obviously constant but zhang 赞 means excellence, and Ching means village or borough. |
