'something' unfolds, tells, is brought out, is unveiled Explanation: nekoliko prijedloga, no bez konteksta je dosta teško.. Reference: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/unfold |

the scheme starts to unravel Explanation: This is the definition given by Bujas, Veliki hr-eng rječnik. It is almost a literal definition -- a ball/skein of wool or yarn becomes unrolled/unravelled. It would be good to know the context -- is something being revealed, or is the situation falling apart (a plan going wrong, for instance)? My suggestion fits the second context. Your context will determine how to translate "klupko" -- plot, scheme, plan, etc. Interestingly, in many of the instances I found online, either interpretation would work! Mostly used with regard to criminal activities being discovered. (My apologies for writing in English.) Full citation: Bujas, Željko. 2001. Veliki hrvatsko-engleski rječnik / Croatian-English dictionary, second edition. Zagreb: Nakladni zavod Globus. Example sentence(s):
