Czech term or phrase: Steblo ze zakladu
Hello,

I was wondering what this phrase means in Czech?. It is a translation from an etymology dictionary of an Old Church Slavonic word 'sturno'. There are accute accent marks over the e in 'steblo' and first a in 'zakladu'.

Any help with a translation is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Brian Costello

Explanation:
stĂŠblo = stalk, straw, jointed stem, culm
zĂĄklad = ground, foundation, base, principle

That must be some part of biblical text, or??? No extra meaning without more information. Old Slavonic word "sturno" ?.

Stéblo ze základu = The stalk from the base. Perhaps some basic line of ... origin of ...? Good luck.
