hubbub


Explanation:
Because of its onomatopoeic nature and its relatively playful nature I think hubbub is close. Given that it means something quite similar, lots of voices, excitement, commotion, etc. and it also has that onomatopoeia.

Interestingly, it is also associated with deep voices and bass notes, just as hubbub is in English.

The usage, however, is slightly different. Hubbub in English has taken on a slightly negative meaning, while in Czech it is used to describe parties and happier noises. (this is totally subjective :-)
