Zdejší soud rozhodl takto... (před tímto jsou uvedena rozhodnutí zahraničních soudů v téže věci).
Thanks.

English translation:Stick in the name of the court
Explanation:
Just stick in the name of the court - Prague Municipal Court or whatever. I don't think there is a sensible-sounding English equivalent for zdejsi soud

This seems to be the best solution if you know the name of the court, the second best would probably be "the Czech court", if you don't know which court exactly. Thanks everyone for your ideas and opinions.

neutral  Jan Vančura: a solution, but not really a translation (and might not be possible if the translator doesn´t know)

-> Maybe Jan, but I have done loads of court rulings and every time zdejsi soud crops up, the only solution is to put "XXX Regional Court" - you cannot put "the Czech court" when even one of the other rulings referred to is from another Czech court.

agree  Elizabeth Spacilova: Sometimes we're not translating word for word, but communicating clearly. IMO this is also good solution - if the name of the court is clear.

agree  Vladimir Kajlik (X): in a given context national (czech) court, as suggested, otherwise XYZ Municipal Court [i.e. US usage]

the Czech Court/the national court

Explanation:
the Czech Court/the national court

The main legal sources in the Czech Republic assistant to determine the inland jurisdiction
of Czech courts for proceedings with an international element are: (i) constitutional laws (ii)
acts (statutes) (iii) multilateral international conventions, and (iv) bilateral international
conventions. Pursuant to Art. 10 of Act No. 1/1993 Coll., the Constitution of the Czech
Republic, it applies that promulgated international agreements, the ratification of which
was approved by the Parliament of the Czech Republic and which are binding upon the
Czech Republic, shall prevail over law. For the purpose of this questionnaire, we will use the
term “international jurisdiction” to express the inland jurisdiction of Czech courts in
proceedings with an international element.

.....by which I mean the locality of the Czech Republic, i.e. national (czech) court, as opposed to the other courts of other countries.

I hope this makes sense to you as this has nothing to do with local, district, regional, etc. courts, in my view.

the relevant Czech court

Explanation:
dalsia moznost prekladu,

je doplnena o slovo relevant (prislusny) kvoli tomu, ze the Czech court by bol prilis siroky a neurcity pojem, a "relevant" zuzuje vyber sudu iba na ten sud, ktory je (vecne , mieste, casove ci osobne) prislusny.
