Czech term or phrase: domovská příslušnost
This is from a Czech birth certificate from August of 1948 (Jewish registry). One line in the certificate is the same for both father and mother, and it is "domovská příslušnost". The reply to both of these is "dosud neurčena".

I just wanted to ask what the proper translation of this into English would be. Addresses of husband and wife are already given on another line.

I'd go for domicile of origin as I understand it to be more of an ancestral status than a law. Please see also wikipedia...
