WinMedcalc-KluID: xxxxxxxx

xxxxxxxxx is a number. The question is what is this number, is it related to the patient and therefore needs to be redacted? Or is it related to the hospital?
I understand that WinMedcalc is a central information system for hospitals.

in answer to your question (and on this, I am not an expert on hospital systems, of course) I don't know what procedure it refers to, and personally, if they don't redact it, why, as translators, should you we? And yes, I am sure the hospital will know

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thank you, Hannah. I gather that the number in itself does not contain the patient ID but a person who has access into the system can identify the patient from that number. Conclusion: it should be redacted in the hospital reports, I guess?
