Opět je nutné si uvědomit, že demineralizovaná voda je ještě „agresivnější“ a „hladovější“ než voda
měkká.

Anyone have anyone have any idea what the author might have meant by this? I have never heard of hungerer or agressive water.

aggressive water
Explanation:
It certainly exists! It's water that attacks the plumbing - too acid or too alkaline

Explanation:
Really pure deionized water, on the other hand, is highly agressive as a solvent, and will quickly cause corrosion in things like pipes, vessels, and containers. What that means, among other things, is that even quite inert containers for d.i. will over time contaminate the water.
Distilled water is not nearly as agressive as deionized, and it is essentially balanced. It still has very little ions in it, but it is less aggressive than DI and while I would not recommend drinking it either, is less likely to harm you. It also is not corrosive to most metallic internal parts on your welder.

more aggressive and hungry than water ...

Explanation:
Boiler water treatment: "Condensate from the condenser is very pure and slightly acidic, often referred to as 'hungry water'. It can dissolve metals in trace amounts to satisfy this hunger."
Water Pipe Corrosion : "Aggressive water is drinking water that can cause corrosion.... Not only do these individuals treat water to make it safe to drink, they sometimes alter the water chemistry to make it less aggressive. Some municipal water works add corrosion inhibitors to the water."

Explanation:
instead of just "disolving", you can use "prone to disolving" I suppose.
