Equity investments in associated companies Explanation: "tilknyttet virksomhed" could also be "group enterprise". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 21 mins (2005-08-02 10:24:17 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I have just looked the definition up in regnskabsordbogen and it says that a subsidiary company (Danish Dattervirksomhed), the parent company (moder virksomhed) are all \"tilknyttede virksomheder\". A \"tilknyttet virksomhed\" may also be an \"associate company\". In my English law dictionary it says that an associate company may be one that is partly owned by another one. I believe now I have chased this up \"affiliated company\" would be more suitable in your context. |
