Danish term or phrase: hegnsbygning
"Marskgårdene voksede i størrelse igennem jernalderen og omkring 200 e. Kr. konstrueres husenes vægge og gårdenes hegn af jordgravet tømmer. Gårdene var ofte omgivet af hegnsbygninger, som kan have været hølader. Hovedbygningerne kunne nu være over 50 m lange, og på landsbytofterne findes ofte små nedgravede arbejdshytter (grubehuse)."

This term is archaic and difficult to locate since "hegnsbygning" lit. fence building (building a fence) is not the intended term.

The closest I have found is that a "hegnsbygning" is a rectangular building constructed alongside a fence. Please see:
