residual holiday or unused vacation time Explanation: Not sure if you need British or American English... Residual holiday (British) (i.e. holiday taken outside the company's holiday period); most companies require their employees to take holidays during the industrial holiday in Denmark. If an employee decides to take a week off in March, this would be referred to as residual holiday as far as I know. Holiday not taken within the 12 months that they were supposed to, is referred to as carried-over holiday, but I don't think that is what is referred to here. I think your safest bet is to simply say 'residual holiday' (or 'unused vacation time' for U.S. English) http://www.cnbc.com/id/102110867 https://www.lederne.dk/NR/rdonlyres/F7711606-ADF6-4C6B-BFE0-81CDB11FFB9B/0/Ferieloven.pdf https://www.krifa.dk/fs/ferie.aspx |
