One of the customers is describing how this product helps combat diseases in chicory. The above term appears in the following sentence: 'In witloof wordt het middel toegepast bij het inschuren van de wortels en bij het overgieten van de kragen in het begin van de forcerie. Hierdoor vrijwaart [product] het gewas van Sclerotinia.' I think it's another kind of product used to protect plants, as shown on this website: http://www.bol.com/nl/p/luxan-koolkraag/9200000011849227/ but am not sure how it should be translated. The document at this link - https://secure.pesticides.gov.uk/offlabels/getfile.asp?notic... - talks about 'spraying the root collars prior to forcing' with regard to protected chicory.
