one of the specification drawings to be prepared for a new hotel to be built using reinforced concrete

English translation:infill strip
Explanation:
Reinforcement mesh in standard sizes is normally used for floors, leaving a strip to be filled with a customized strip of reinforcement mesh: the "passtrook".

Ref: https://books.google.nl/books?id=caXVTY3rBUcC&pg=PA36&lpg=PA...
This describes the principle for concrete but it is the same for reinforcement.

Infill blocks

Explanation:
Infill blocks are concrete blocks which are used in conjunction with precast concrete beams in beam and block floors (ribbenvloeren).

EPS infill blocks (which Lianne mentioned) are used to increase the insulation properties of floors.

neutral  Barend van Zadelhoff: They are not 'infill blocks' between beams; see images mentioned in my reference in combination with Lianne's first ref.: https://tinyurl.com/y5grzxf8 They are used for residual spaces to complete the floor plan.

disagree  Martin van Gerrevink: This has nothing to do with blocks, it is a strip of reinforcement mesh

disagree  Martin van Gerrevink: That is completely differen principle in Dutch "krimpstrook"

neutral  Barend van Zadelhoff: It is not about 'expansion and contraction', it is about spaces that remain after all standard sizes have been applied.

agree  Barend van Zadelhoff: You may be right but your reference does not convince me, neither does the solution. Does not seem specific enough. By the way, why do you agree with something you don't agree with (compensation blocks)?

-> I don't have a public reference, but I've worked with a British structural engineer on a project who used exactly the same term for exactly the same context. So the answer is based on experience.

Reference: Some kind of fitting strips

Reference information:
This seems to refer to strips that are used between concrete hollow core plates to be finished with additional poured concrete. That would be a literal translation of pas-stroken (fit-strips) and they are described in below brochure. They are not reinforced, so I am not sure if this fits your context.
https://www.betonson.com/media/5018/verwerkingsvoorschrift_s...

Passtroken of different widths are mentioned in this wiki where they refer, from what I understand, to smaller than standard 1200 mm reinforced slabs for fitting purposes. So that would be a different concept imo.

I hope this helps.

Ongewapend
Minimale dikte : 0,25 x dagmaat (min. 50 mm)
Maximale breedte : 300 mm (zie tekeningbladen)

Gewapend
Minimale dikte : 50 mm
Maximale breedte : 400 mm (zie tekeningbladen)
