agree  Kitty Brussaard: Alternatively, Work and Income according to Labour Capacity Act (cf. reference comments). / Don't agree with Katerina's "Income according to Work Capacity Act", which seems to be used predominantly by the BD, and even by them not very consistently.

agree  Michael Beijer: not sure what a "dico" is, but this one is exceedingly easy to find (although I prefer other translations of it to JurLex’s)

No English-language references available on wetten.overheid.nl - at least not as far as I can see - but here's one from the EC.

WIA is the Dutch abbreviation for the Work and Income (Capacity for Work) Act. The WIA is the benefit you receive if, due to illness or disability, you cannot work or can only earn less than your old income through working.

Addendum:

Ministerie SZW

Work and Income according to Labour Capacity Act (WIA)

The WIA provides for employees entitled to occupational disability benefit upon full and permanent occupational disability. Those still able to work partially will receive a supplement to their wage.

Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS)

WIA

On 1 January 2006, the Disability Insurance Act (WAO) was replaced by the Work and Income according to Labour Capacity Act (WIA). The WAO remains in force for persons who were declared disabled prior to 2004.

Inconsistency is rife here. See f.i. https://www.government.nl/documents/leaflets/2014/01/13/stat... This publication (State of Affairs of social security, January 2014) by the Ministerie SZW again refers to WIA as the Work and Income (Capacity for Work) Act (WIA).....

agree  Barend van Zadelhoff: Work and Income according to Labour Capacity Act , makes sense.//Working on occupational disability. Policy proposals Have a look: http://tinyurl.com/zyd7mhn Also in combination with Ministry of Social Affairs. Also see NWAO.
3 hrs
-> It doesn't only make sense (linguistically or otherwise), it's also used by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment in an official publication (which BTW also uses 'Disability Insurance Act' for WAO, see p. 6 of the 2nd link above).
