Dutch term or phrase: inschakelingsvergoeding
This term occurs in a Belgian text about compulsory redundancy scheme by a company undergoing restructuring.

"De Werknemer wiens arbeidsovereenkomst wordt beëindigd in toepassing van dit hoofdstuk, die zich inschrijft in de tewerkstellingscel en die voldoet aan de terzake geldende wettelijke en conventionele voorwaarden, is gerechtigd op de inschakelingsvergoeding gedurende de duur zoals voorzien bij wet. De inschakelingsvergoeding zal berekend worden op basis van het loon waarop de opzeggingsvergoeding berekend wordt. De inschakelingsvergoeding omvat de opzeggingsvergoeding waarop de Werknemer gerechtigd is zodat de opzeggingsvergoeding geheel of gedeeltelijk betaald wordt onder de vorm van een inschakelingsvergoeding."

Is there an accepted/official translation for this in English (besides 're-activation' benefit/'integration' allowance, which are very literal and make no sense in English)? Also, "exit payment" seems too general in this context. "Severance pay" or "redundancy pay" are already taken as translations for "opzeggingsvergoeding".

Some explanation of what the 'inschakelingsvergoeding' is (http://www.werk.belgie.be/detailA_Z.aspx?id=31108):
"Wanneer een bedrijf in herstructurering overgaat tot collectief ontslag is de werkgever verplicht een tewerkstellingscel op te richten. Elke werknemer die in de tewerkstellingscel is ingeschreven, heeft recht op een inschakelingsvergoeding.
Het gaat in werkelijkheid om een vergoeding die gelijk is aan het normale loon en de voordelen die daarbij hoorden volgens het arbeidscontract. De inschakelingsvergoeding wordt zes of drie maanden lang uitbetaald, afhankelijk van de leeftijd van de werknemer. 45-plussers hebben recht op 6 maanden, ontslagen werknemers jonger dan 45 op drie maanden.
Deze vergoeding wordt uitbetaald door de werkgever in herstructurering. Ze is gelijkgesteld met een opzeggingsvergoeding of verbrekingsvergoeding, maar wordt maandelijks uitbetaald. Zelfs als de werknemer onmiddellijk werk vindt bij een nieuwe werkgever moet de inschakelingsvergoeding uitbetaald worden. De werknemer kan de vergoeding dus combineren met het nieuwe salaris."

I think the word "transition" in itself already indicates that these payments are made to help transition from this job to another...Wouldn't you think?

Asker: Thanks, yes, this seems to a term used in the Netherlands for 'transitievergoeding' (https://www.eurofound.europa.eu/observatories/emcc/erm/legislation/netherlands-severance-payredundancy-compensation). I'm not sure it refers to the same allowance as in Belgium. Also, I'm wondering whether the 'inschakeling' part could be retained in any way in the translation, to indicate the meaning better.

Asker: @Tina Vonhof, thanks for your help. I found the Google references but they didn't quite convince me. I think 'transition payment' refers only to the transition period between jobs, while here they are referring to an allowance to facilitate the employee's re-entry into the employment market, in French this is "indemnité de reclassement".
