agree  Bryan Crumpler: insofar = pleonastic and literally superfluous, unless that's the type of legalese desired. I too prefer "where" or "when" as better substitutes.

agree  Tina Vonhof (X): There is something to be said for this but it is a slippery slope: how far can you go simplifying things in English when the Dutch source text is very wordy. If you try to simplify consistently throughout the document, you could run into trouble.
