Whole sentence:
Onder schriftelijk wordt in deze statuten verstaan elk via de gangbare communicatiekanalen overgebracht bericht, waarvan uit geschrift blijkt.

I can't get my head around this. 'Onder schriftelijk' and 'uit geschrift' both mean 'in writing', right? So why does it appear twice?
