Law/Patents - Law (general) / old Dutch
Dutch term or phrase: genamptizeerde
The word appears in an old Dutch legal text (18th century). I am able to translate the old words into modern Dutch except for "genamptizeerde". See the fragment below for more context:
"… aldaar alle termijnen van rechten te observeeren, vonnissen te verzoeken dezelve ter executie te stellen en tenuyt eynde toe te vervolgen van de nadeelige te provoceeren, reformeeren of appelleeren alle geconsigneerde, genamptizeerde of andere penningen te Ligten Cautie te stellen ..."

Does anyone have an idea what it could mean?
I'm struggling to make sense of the whole fragment starting with "tenuyt eynde toe te vervolgen van …" - any help will be much appreciated.

It may be easy to Google but the key lies in realising that you have to try substituting an "s" for the "z", after which all is revealed! The idea for doing this probably comes more easily to someone based in the UK, where we do it in English all the time ;-)
