The Dutch government themselves translate it as ‘Dutch Playground and Amusement Equipment Commodities Act Decree’.

@Barend: I think it is quite clear that this refers to a Decree within the framework of the Commodities Act. I don't think your solution with the semi colon works.

What about: ‘Decree on Playground and Amusement Equipment under the Dutch Commodities Act’ ?

There's no conventional translation of this because it's a Surinamese law, so there's no reason for it to have one. You can call it whatever you like within reason.
By and large, the only laws that do have official versions in other languages are international ones, such as UN treaties and EU directives.

I suppose 'Commodities Act Decree' means a Decree as part of / within the framework / under the terms of the 'Commodities Act'

However 'Commodities Act Decree' sounds more like the general concept where premodification may be justified.

tbh I don't understand if the word Decree as it is understood in NL is the same as in in the UK or US or if it is even translatable... however, I
found 'Commodities Act Decree' on Eur-Lex, led me to 'Dutch Commodities Act Decree on Amusement and Playground Equipment', no brackets , and no 'relating to' Michael, that sounds too incidental and vague to me.

I think two things need to be differentiated: Decree and Commodities Act

You have the Commodities Act and then a Decree under (the terms of) the Commodities Act

What about:

Never have entirely understood JurLex's use of brackets though. Furthermore, it's one thing using brackets in a dictionary (to save space or indicate various meanings), and another altogether using them on a government website.

but I think you could also get away with making one up yourself as there doesn't seem to be a standard EN translation, yet. adding the Dutch in brackets or sth like that
