Dutch term or phrase: Moortje
In a fiction I'm working on, it is a name for a cat. It's Dutch I think. So could you please help me with the pronunciation of the word.

English translation:Moorcha
Explanation:
This is about the closest approximation I can get using English spelling. The 'a' is pronounced as in the indefinite article rather than as in 'cat'.

Explanation:
As we are dealing with two different phonetic systems it can only be an approximation. This is just another possibility

Mohrcha

Explanation:
Whereas Moorcha is almost as good,I suggest "oh" instead of"oo" which is pronounced like in "wool" "hook","book"
Again the Dutch name is pronounced as in "more","whole","sole".
