mortise-and-tenon joint Explanation: TITAN WOOD, in its literature, describes a “slisverbinding” as a “post and I-beam connection”. A picture shown elsewhere makes it look like a special case of a “mortise-and-tenon” joint. Instructions found on another site for apprentice carpenters, describes the process of making a slisverbinding as follows: Boor het vierkant gat voor slisverbinding ( let op aan beide zijde inboren i.v.m. splinteren aan de achterzijde ) Stel de lintzaagmachine af en zaag het gat voor slisverbinding verder in. Stel de lintzaagmachine af en zaag de pen voor slisverbinding. This description corresponds exactly to making a mortise-and-tenon joint. Een gewone slisverbinding is een bridle joint.
