an evergreen Explanation: doorloper: prolonged production set; evergreen www.angelfire.com/ca/vlietstra/ad.html is of course not a 'glass'term but fits in a marketing context. found on the internet. HTH -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-09-10 07:00:43 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- FYI, straight from the NL-En dico, a doorloper is a Frisian safety speed-skate (ice skate) or a \"Mephisto puzzel\". Tall glass or a Chimney Explanation: I suspect this may be your answer. I've been a bartender in the states and in NL but I've never heard of a doorloper. The logic with tall glasses is that it lasts longer. The first webstite may be interesting the rest are from google searching for 'glass glossary' or variations with: bar, drinking etc. Good luck Bar glasses http://www.sasky.com/saskycom/databases/bartending/glasses.h... (I suspect this is the better one) http://www.epicurious.com/d_drinking/d07_spirits/basicglass....
