ST-decalage

English translation: ST deviation / ST shift

Medical - Medical: Cardiology / cardiology
Dutch term or phrase: ST-decalage
In medical report (from Belgium) under the section:
ECG at rest:
ST-elevatie II, III, aVf en V6
ST-decalage van V2 tot V3

Is ST-decalage (org. French I know), the same as ST-elevation? Why wouldn't they have used the same word then?

Anyone?

English translation:ST deviation / ST shift
Explanation:
I believe this is what is meant, i.e. a deviation in the S and T waves on an ECG. An elevation and ecalage (écalage) are definitely not the same.

écalage (FR) = verschuiving, verschil

6 jan 2012 – Het normale ecg. • ST-segment. – Isoelectrisch – ST-decalage tot 0.05 mV – ST-elevatie met opwaarts gerichte concaviteit. • <0.1 mV in perifere

Obviously referring to three different situations: isoelectric, below the isoelectric line and above it. This is vertical displacement (voltage measured in millivolts), not horizontal (time).
