"credit products" = credit lines for credit cards, borrowing accoutns for equity loans, mortgages etc. "checking products" = basic free checking account (debit account), interest bearing accounts etc. "savings products" = IRAs, savings account, 401ks, CDs etc. All of these are managed as separate subaccounts and tied to a primary bank account (usually a checking account). Their balances may contribute to a total, combined balance for accounting (ledgers). If it's a matter of (sub)accounts that serve as backup funding (as is the case sometimes with a savings or loan account etc), you can refer to them as "linked" accounts rather than sub accounts.
