edging(s) Explanation: Dat is wat het wil zeggen, oftewel 'gepassepoileerd' (de lange versie). Maar... eigenlijk betekent het woord (toch in het Nederlands) blijkbaar het feit dat de randjes in een contrasterende kleur zijn gemaakt. Zoals bij de iconische Chanel mantelpakjes, maar ook de knoopsgaten bijvoorbeeld. Misschien zou je kunnen vertalen met 'contrasting edging' of 'edging in [colour]'/'[colour] edging', als dat wel degelijk de betekenis is. Anders zou ik het gewoon bij 'edging' houden. |
