Dutch term or phrase: confrontatiekamer
I'm working on a translation of a B&B website. This accommodation used to be a police station, which was refurbished into a B&B some years ago. The rooms have all kept their original names, e.g. the names of the staff rooms. This is the first of a series (to follow in other questions).
Based on the translation of "confrontatiespiegel" (= two-way mirror according to Van Dale) my guess would be "two-way mirror observation room", but since this former police station was based in a small Dutch village (though covering a wider area), I think terms like this are not appropriate. What about "line-up room"? Is lining up common in the Dutch police force?
Any suggestions? Thanks!
