Als dikwandig cv-monteur monteer en repareer je installaties voor de utiliteits en industrie. Aan de hand van tekeningen installeer je zelfstandig leidingen voor centrale verwarming, luchtbehandeling en centrale warmwatervoorziening. Daarna worden de leidingen gebogen en autogeen of tig aan elkaar gelast. Ook dien je de installaties te controleren op lekkages. Voor deze werkzaamheden dien je met een buig apparaat, slijptol, brander en lasapparaat te kunnen werken. Je houd daarbij rekening met de veiligheidsvoorschriften en installatievoorschriften
