This is how I would translate it:

E shkrova emrin tënd në qiell,
Por era e mori me vete.
E shkrova emrin tënd në rërë,
Por valët e shtynë në det.
E shkrova emrin tënd në zemrën time,
Dhe aty do të qëndrojë i skalitur përherë.

A rough translation would be:

I wrote your name in the sky,
But the wind took it with itself,
I wrote your name in the sand,
But the waves pushed it away inside the sea.
I wrote your name in my heart,
And there will always remain engraved.

Just like the English original that rhymes so does the Albanian translation. In English the second, fourth and sixth lines rhyme: away, away, stay. In Albanian the second, fourth and sixth lines rhyme: fluturim, furim, kujtim. This makes the translation sound as poetic as the original.
