To all the ones that have a doubt about the word "Okupim":

It was not my desire to argue about something that is clear and loud written and used in our daily life. I always thought that it is everybody's responsibilities to check the dictionaries first (even in cases when we need to do more that just open a dictionary) before we make a comment on the translation offered from another translator. I decided to continue this discussion based on the comment done from Monika Coulson ( as usual with her disagreement) that " okupim" is not an Albanian word. My suggestion for everybody that has a doubt about "okupim", if it is an Albanian word or not, is to open the Albanian - Albanian dictionary 2006 and see that "okupoj, okupohet, okupuar, okupim,..." are part of this dictionary. This is a dictionary published by "Akademia e Shkencave të Shqipërisë dhe Instituti i Gjuhësisë dhe Letërsisë". It is a borrowed word but it has entered our Albanian dictionaries.

Hi Daniela,

Nuk e di nëse personi që ka bërë përkthimin ka përdorur google apo jo por pajtohem me ty se është me të vërtetë një përkthim shumë i dobët. Prandaj kam kërkuar falje edhe pse nuk është puna ime. U detyrova ta vë si reference sepse edhe shembujt e tjerë që gjeta ishin po të së njejtës cilësi.

Sa për fjalën "okupim" - është fjalë e huazuar por ka hyrë si fjalë në fjalorët e gjuhës shqipe. Gjëja e parë që bëra para se ta vendosja mendimin tim ishte hapja e fjalorëve të gjuhës shqipe.

Edhe unë të uroj gjithë të mirat.
