O, weep for Adonais! though our tears Thaw not the frost which binds so dear a head! :حرفياً أبكي على أدونايس فإنه قد مات فلتبكوا على أدونايس وإن لم تُذب دموعُ نذرفها صقيعاً كسى رأساً عزيزاً :المعنى فلتبكوا على أدونايس ولو كان الحزن لا يعيد سيّد الشعراء إلى الحياة كلمة الرأس مجاز مُرسل، جزء يشير إلى الكل، أي الرأس يشير إلى جسد الشخص كله، أدونايس و"هِد" ترمز أيضاً إلى الرئيس، أي كبير الشعراء، نابغة، سيّدهم و"هِد" تعني أيضاً موهبة طبيعية أدونايس كناية والمقصود هو الشاعر كيتس كيتس مات شاباً وكان شاعراً موهوباً مرض ومات حزناً بسبب الهجوم الذي شنّه عليه الشعراء الأكبر سناً غيرةً من موهبته كناية الاسم مزيج من اسم أدونيس الإله الذي مات شاباً وكلمة أدوناي وتعني السيد أي بالمعنى التصويري غير الحرفي، لقد مات زين الشعراء he is dead! ... so dear a head! |
