مِـردَن
Explanation:
Pearn or Pern means "spindle or bobbin" (from some Irish dialect: ...the word pern means "spindle" or "bobbin", a reference to the motif of Thread..., ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pern)

pearn = مردن، مردن الخيوط
spindle= مغزل، وشيعة، عمود دوران، محور دوران
bobbin= وشيعة، مكوك، بكرة

take a look at these verse lines:

The country folk from labour hard retire
And form a circle round their kitchen fire,
The lads bring in the reedy hemp to peel,
While lasses pass the band around the wheel,
And well adjust the peg of crooked kern,
Within the fly that spins around the pearn,
To lead the thread along in reg’lar lays
The bobbin on that round the spindle plays;

and in Mohatma Ghandi's Autobiography:

We could get neither spinning wheel nor a spinner to teach us how to spin. We were employing some wheel for filling pearns and bobbins for weaving in the Ashram. But we had no idea that these could be used as spinning wheels.

pearn & bobbin = المردن والمكوك

I'm not quite sure, it's a guess!
