We use "got" or "vas" (depending on the dialect) for "vi" (wine) when at home or at a bar. However, at a party, a restaurant, a social event, etc the word "copa" is used. As a matter of fact, they are not the same item -the former is the typical glass used for water, whereas the latter is the kind of glass used for champagne, wine, cocktails, etc
