English term or phrase: In hot water
"In hot water" is a pun on the term in English for getting into trouble, as the anecdote is about an incident in a sauna - I therefore need to keep the pun if possible!Any suggestions welcome!

sortir-ne escaldat
Explanation:
Aquesta és una altra manera de dir-ho. Existeix "sortir-se amb la seva" que vol dir aconseguir alguna cosa i, paral·lelament existeix "sortir escaldat d'alguna situació o sortir-ne escaldat" que vol dir que les coses aquesta vegada no t'han anat tan bé.

Molta sort! ;)

"Acabar escaldat"

Explanation:
It is a common colloquial Catalan Expression. "Escaldar" means to get burnt in contact with hot water. It is used to express the frustration or disapontment of expecting somenthing very good and getting something quite fishy!

Posar-se de peus a la galleda / estar amb l'aigua al coll

Explanation:
Dues frases fetes més que et podrien anar bé segons el context.

La primera vol dir posar-se en problemes, fer una cosa que no s'hauria hagut de fer.

La segona es diu en situacions en què et trobes amb problemes, siguin per culpa teva o no. També es fa servir quan vas curt de diners.
