Please can you confirm if the above text reads “Self Service Bank” or just "Self Service". We need it to read simply Self Service so that customers can help themselves with banking translations at Automatic Teller Machines.

Thank you

self service banking

Explanation:
If you want to express the service provided by the network of ATMs (automatic teller machines) and cheque/cash deposit machines and , the Chines words should be 自助银行服务。

It should not be translated as just 自助银行 which you provided in the question because it is part of the service provided by the bank to its customers.

See the links in HSBC's English and Chinese versions below.

Whether your question is a ZH>EN or EN>ZH, I hope this helps. But please confirm the correct pairing. Thanks.

Sorry typo - the first sentence should read:

If you want to express the service provided by the network of ATMs (automatic teller machines) and cheque/cash deposit machines, the Chinese words should be 自助银行服务。

Self Service

Explanation:
"自助" = “self service”, "银行"=“bank” So "自助银行" reads "self service bank". I think that is the answer to one part of the question.

But,... but it reads "self service bank" does not mean it should be translated into "self service bank". "自助银行"means "self service" by common understanding,so it is good.

BTW, one can not just put "自助" there, for that is not a noun.
