Yiyanan, I can understand why you don't think UP means 向上 in your context.

UP-Light means usually exactly having light up to the ceiling und letting the light refect from the ceiling to illuminate indirectly the space or the objects. The light beam does not usually shine from the bottom up to the ceiling. It hangs on and is near the ceiling. That is the reason why you don't think UP-Light means 向上照明.

So, 间接照明 may be the solution.
