Your Auditron monitors two signals from the 'copier; the vend line and the Bin 2 line. With Level sensing selected, when the vend line is activated, the Auditron checks the state of the Bin 2 line to determine whether the copy is being made from the Bin 1 paper tray or the Bin 2 paper tray.
Level sensing is used whenever a Multi-Vend unit, or a debit charging system is used on the 'copier.
With Pulse sensing selected, the Auditron checks the state of the vend and Bin 2 lines simultaneously to determine whether the copy is being made from the Bin 1 paper tray or the Bin 2 paper tray. If the vend line is activated, a Bin 1 transaction is counted by the Auditron; if the Bin 2 line is activated a Bin 2 transaction is counted.

Actually, such kind of control modules can be used not only on copier units. So, a more general translation should be 售货计数线路 and, for Multi-Vend unit, 多重售货机.
