change to active voice Explanation: To go into Chinese, I think I'd split this sentence up: Pay shall be at the Employee’s regular straight time base rate and shall be paid for claims which occur on days which the Employee would be regularly scheduled to work. = Claims from days when the Employee was supposed to work will be paid based on his regular base rate. Here "claim" isn't a specific demand, but an application for payment, so I'm not sure about "gen ju", Chance...but as I've often said I'm not native so maybe you can help me to understand if it has the same meaning or not. If there *is* a difference in meaning (which I believe there is) maybe somebody can put this version into decent Chinese for me. |
