民间团体 Explanation: In contrast to governmental institutions, civil partnerships are organisations concerning civil affairs. It's not the pursuit of "profit" but the pursuit of interests which differs a civil partnership from commercial organisations. A civil partnership can be a supporting organisation to governmental institutions or even to military organisations, but its nature is of civilian organization, i.e., civil partnership (sociedad civil). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 hrs (2008-02-03 00:10:26 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- To translate this term literally, it would be "民间合作伙伴关系" and shortly "民间合伙关系."
