Puzanje elektrolita je pojava koja se javlja kod alkalijskih ćelija/baterija (alkalijski metali su metali prve skupine periodnog sustava elemenata), a očituje se u postupnom širenju elektrolita po vanjskoj stijenci ćelije. Do takve pojave dolazi ako atom alkalijskog metala, koji je izašao iz inače kontinuiranog elektrolitskog filma, prijeđe kratku udaljenost po površini ćelije, a zatim reakcijom sa zrakom stvara kapljicu elektrolita na vanjskoj površini, koja je često vidljiva.
