Isparavanje je fazni prijelaz iz kapljevitog ili krutog u plinovito agregatno stanje, a razlikuju se tri različita oblika:

Ako i dalje dovodimo toplinu (nakon potpunog isparavanja), para se počinje vladati kao realni plin i takvu paru nazivamo pregrijanom parom.
