Virus–host interaction is a complex phenomenon, often virus- and host cell-specific. The dynamic interactions between a virus and its host are critical for the establishment of acute infections and/or the maintenance of persistent infections, and for the manifestation of the disease.

Yes  drazenborcic: Samo, molim Vas, izbacite stanicu ili ćeliju. Host je domaćin, a ako se interakcija odnosi na stanicu-domaćina, onda se naglašava da se radi o staničnoj interakciji.
