Radi se o drvenim "natikačama" otvorenih prstiju koje su se obuvale na druge cipele i u njima se hodalo samo po vani. Postojale su i nosile se u 15. stoljeću.

Postoji li kakav hrvatski naziv?

Od 'kal' = blato ...

... postojale i nosile se po panonskim selima još sredinom 20. st.
Možda ponegdje još i danas.

Nisu uvijek imale otvorene prste ... ali se jesu nazuvale na već obuvenu nogu (druge cipele)...
...češće kao one natikače s drvenim potplatom što su se znale prodavati na Dolcu, a puno su ih nosili medicinari po bolnicama, kao 'radnu obuću'.

-> Gospodična, možete i dan-danas otići u Nizozemsku pa ih pitati od kada oni izrađuju DRVENE KALJAČE, a u TEHNOLOGIJI možete saznati od kada se GUMA rabi u te svrhe ... a KLOMPE su samo slavonski narodni sinonim... i ne samo slavonski (onomatopeja)
