Explanation:
Tento termín se používá v ofsetovém tisku následovně:

1) Roll doctor - stěračový válec, válec barevnice
2) Doctor blade - nůž stěrače, stírací nůž nebo prostě stěrač

Myslím, že při výrobě papíru bude funkce obdobná - opět stírání - avšak zřejmě jiné hmoty než barvy.

Jsme samozřejmě ve výrobě papíru, nikoliv tisku.
Dle mého se tomu říká spíše takhle, i když to může znít hovorově - viz odkazy jak z praxe, tak z encyklopedie
