advarsel om fotofælde Explanation: They might call them safety cameras in England, but the Danish colloquial term is more accurate about their function (I think ;)). The official name of the cameras is: Automatisk Trafikkontrol. Some might call them "pengemaskiner". ;) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 hrs 41 mins (2005-08-08 21:34:04 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- http://www.safe2travel.co.uk/cameras/locations.asp In the UK they have fixed cameras at certain locations, whereas in Denmark we only have the mobile cameras in the police vans (so far). |

sikkerhedskamera advarsler Explanation: A safety camera in some places is different to a speed camera. A safety camera looks over the traffic (i.e. on motorways) and an authority figure looks at it to see if there are emergencies like accidents, congestion, speeding, terrorists etc and a speed camera measures your speed and takes a picture of you if you are speeding. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 18 hrs 28 mins (2005-08-09 04:21:51 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- eller sikkerhedskamera beredskaber |
