Danish translation:ha' en god dag
Explanation:
I fear this might be considered a Disneyland Americanism, and will be considered somewhat out of place in Denmark. I doubt anyone seriously cares, on a daily basis, if anyone has a 'nice day' in Denmark (it rains too often, and the winter is too long). I certainly didn't when I lived there :-)

agree  Dan Schioenning Larsen: I don't know when you were here last, but it is used a lot now in stores. It's a very fake wish, but (unfortunately) one that is gaining ground. Some also say "Hav en fortsat god dag" which is even worse, as they don't know how my day has been so far...

-> Arrgh... actually I did notice that. Yes, 'fortsat' really drives me up the wall, too. It makes too many assumptions...

agree  pcovs: Yes, it has certainly gained ground in recent years, and "fortsat" also drives me up the wall! This person, whom I don't know personally assumes something about my day!!! I don't know; perhaps I think this is a private matter. Hmmm ;o)
