Explanation of "riser cable" is given on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plenum_cable, as opposed to "plenum cable" (apparently the better quality cable). The use of 'riserkabel' seems acceptable, also see computerwoorden.nl . Eventually 'stijgkabel', although my impression is, this may be used more in Flemish. The use of plenum or riser cable is apparently specified in American fire prevention norm NFPA 90A. I don't know in which Dutch standard it is described.
