a mixed estate of platforms >> een gemengde platforminfrastructuur, een gemengd platformlandschap, een gemengd landschap van platforms

Als je "infrastructuur" al gebruikt voor "infrastructure", dan heb je inderdaad een andere vertaling nodig voor "estate" (tenzij je geen onderscheid wilt maken).

Met "reeds bestaande" heeft de term m.i. niets te maken. Dat zou je eerder moeten/kunnen gebruiken voor "legacy".

Ik denk bij "estate" vooral aan zoiets als park/landschap (vgl. printerpark, computerpark, applicatielandschap, serverlandschap etc.).

Asker: Tsja... Ze hebben het ook over "infrastructure", vandaar dat ik denk dat ze hier iets anders bedoelen, iets in de vorm van "reeds bestaande"

Asker: "Platformlandschap" zie ik wel brood in.
